Design and Printing

Our company makes use of the latest modern technologies in flexographic printing of packaging material. Our flexographic printing workshop is tooled with high-technology equipment used for full cycle works such as:

• Plate mounting
• Printing
• Lamination
• Cutting into spools
• Finished products packaging

Quality control is performed on each of the above mentioned full cycle works stages.

Our equipment mostly comprises of printing presses (manufactured by «BMF» and «BIELLONI» firms) referred to as common impression flexopresses. The maximum width of printed stock (1200 mm) allows estimating the optimal workload when printing one order of 500 to 10 000 kg of packaging material.

The printing department of our company is equipped with adhesive laminator “Jullia” (product of «Bielloni Castello» company) designed for interlaminar printing: the color coat is placed between 2 film layers that prevents it from external exposure but also increases its barrier characteristics especially in combination with metallized film.

There is also a design studio in the company “Amipak” where you can find modern equipment that allows performing development and premakeready of a make-up page and making photopolymer printing plates. The design studio staff comprises leading specialists that are experts in developing such design features as trade brands, corporate identity elements, and make-up pages taking into account flexographic printing features. Our specialists can also perform computer enhancement and color separation.

The company “Amipak” performs printing on almost any flexible roll materials from 12 to 200 μm thick. The most popular and widely used packaging materials and their scope of use are given in the list below:

1. Transparent polypropylene film (TPPF)
   Scope of usage: for potato chips and other crispy snacks, confectionery, ice-cream bars.
2. Pearl-white polypropylene film
   Scope of usage: for ice-cream and chocolate bars packaging
3. Metallized polypropylene film.
   Scope of usage: This one-end sealed film is most frequently use for ice-cream, chips and croutons packaging.

4. Combined materials on basis of polymer film:

   1. Metallized polypropylene film + Transparent polypropylene film .
      Scope of usage: correx packaging of confectionery, snacks, and medical products;
   2. Transparent polypropylene film + Transparent polypropylene film.
      Scope of usage: Most frequently used for cereals, groats and macaroni packaging.
   3. Transparent polypropylene film + Metallized polypropylene film .
      Scope of usage: For chips, croutons, nuts and chocolate bars.
   4. Transparent polypropylene film + polyethylene.
      Scope of usage: frozen foods, cereals, ground dust-forming products. Polyethylene being part of the combined material provides for extra freezing characteristics of packaging.
   5. Polyethylene terephthalate film + polyethylene.
      Scope of usage: vacuum packaging, packaging of fat-containing products: mayonnaise, nuts, household chemical goods.
   6. Polyethylene terephthalate film + polypropylene.
      Usage: barrier packaging that doesn’t have any high mechanical strength qualifying standards;
   7. Polyethylene terephthalate film+ Metallized polypropylene film + polyethylene.
      Usage: flavor-proof packaging for coffee, cocoa, dry milk.
