Multilayer Combined Materials

Multilayer materials are used for packaging of various products requiring special storage conditions. These materials possess required barrier characteristics which considerably increase product storage limits.

A short list of materials and their scope of usage are given below:

For details on some of the mentioned materials, see the descriptions below:

Amorphous Film (PET) Laminated with Polythene

This type of material is used for blister and skin packaging, vacuum (barrier) and modified controlled atmosphere packaging of meat and fish products, and cycle-based equipment. This material is heat-welded to paper, carton, foil, etc.

A unique set of qualities of this material is as follows: excellent heat sealability, frost-resistance, high adherence junction strength, efficient protection of goods from external environment factors (moisture, oxygen, acid gas, nitrogen, etc.), super strength and visual performance, excellent color printing adherence. It can be manufactured on basis of transparent, colored, metallized (“gold”, “silver”) PET film.

Oriented PET Film Laminated with Polythene

This material is known for its absence of flavor and taste, high level of transparency, chemical non-activity, high barrier qualities (vapor proofness, gas impermeability), high fat resistance, good heat sealability, good dielectric and insulating qualities, impact resistance remaining in low temperatures.

Laminated Foil

Different types of foil such as aluminum, parchment laminated foil or fat and wet-strength paper are widely used for unsealed packaging of products on automated lines. Our company has designed a new production technology of the laminated foil using polythene melt laminating method. The internal polythene layer not only performs the adhesive function but also provides for additional protection of the product. Such laminated foil is quite versatile and is generally used for:

  • Packaging of butter, cheese-cake products, ice-cream, adipose, etc. (Paper/PE/foil with primer finish for further coverage with nominal weight — 75-76 g/m²);
  • Smokables packaging (Paper/PE/foil with nominal weight 70 g/m² and 75 g/m²)

Material width — up to 1040 mm. Customer format cutting off is available upon request.

Polythene Laminated Paper

This material is used for packaging concentrates, flavors, spicery, etc. Also used for tablets, blisters, syringes.

The material is produced in sheets rolled with polythene layer inwards; the basis is laminated with low-density polyethylene layer. Standard basis is formed by label one-side glossed paper (manufactured by Arkhangelsk pulp-and-paper plant). Standard roll width — 820 mm.

Carton-Based Combined Materials

This material is mostly used in printing industry, for glass-package space filler, carton packaging of special usage, back panel cladding of fridges, conditioners; substrates for vacuum packages (polythene laminated carton, foiled carton laminated with metallized polyethylene terephthalate film or other combinations of carton, film and foil).

Order Details:
